  1. How do I order from AST?

    Call us toll-free from the United States and Canada at 800-627-2788 between 8am - 5pm, MST or order online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and receive a 20% discount! International customers click here for a local distributor in your country.




  2. Is it safe to submit my credit card number?

    Yes. AST Sports Science takes every precaution to protect your online transaction.

    We utilize SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) 128 bit encryption technology provided by our Verisign Secure Server Certificate. What this means is that information you send to our server is encoded so that no one else can read it. This provides a safe and secure environment for you to submit your personal information and credit card number.

    Note also that no sensitive data is stored on the web server or any other publicly accessible server. We even go one step beyond this and delete your credit card information from the database once your order has been processed to further protect you.




  3. How is my order shipped and how much does it cost?

    Orders are shipped by FedEx. We utilize their ground and express services depending on the selection you make when you order.

    The cost of shipping depends on the weight of your order. To find out exactly how much your order will cost, place the items you want in your cart and then click the "How much will it cost to ship my order?" link.

  4. How long will it take to get my order?

    We offer 3 speeds of service:

    • Standard (5-7 business days)
    • 3 business days (add $2.00)
    • 2 business days (add $5.00)

    Orders received by 3 pm MST (Mountain Standard Time) will ship the same business day. Saturday and Sunday delivery is not available. Orders placed on Fridays after 3 pm MST, weekends or holidays, will be filled and shipped the following business day. Business days are Monday - Friday.

    Delivery time examples:

    • A Standard package shipped on Monday should be delivered by the following Wednesday

    • A 3-day package shipped on Monday should be delivered on Thursday

    • A 2-day package shipped on Monday should be delivered on Wednesday

    • A 3-day package shipped on Wednesday should be delivered on Monday

  5. How can I check on my order after it's placed?

    If you order online, you will receive an email with your tracking number once your order ships from our warehouse. Click the link to follow your package to its destination. If you do not receive this email, check your email filtering and/or spam blocking settings. These settings occasionally block legitimate email.

  7. How do I get a coupon or find out about current specials?

    That's easy! Sign up for our Performance Update email newsletter. You'll always receive the latest coupon with the best prices available that we only offer our online customers. In fact, first-time subscribers receive a coupon for 10% off your next order!

  8. Can I ship to an address other than my billing address?

    As part of our Fraud Protection Program, we encourage new customers ship to their billing address for their first order. Please contact us to make different arrangements.




  9. Can I ship to a P.O. Box?

    Yes! Orders with P.O. Box addresses are sent via U.S. Postal System Priority Mail and usually take 3-5 business days to arrive.




  10. Can I ship to a military (APO, FPO) address?

    Yes! All military orders will ship via U.S. Postal First Class Mail. On average, delivery takes between 2 and 4 weeks, depending on the military mail in your area.

    When entering your address, please enter FPO or APO (or the equivalent) in the "city" field, and enter AP, AE, etc. in the "state" field. Even if you are stationed overseas, please choose United States as the country.

  12. What is the "Billing Address"?

    The "Billing Address" refers to the address which is on file with the credit card company or issuing bank. When we process your credit card, the address you provide will be checked against the address on file with the credit card company. If the addresses don't match, your order may experience a delay.




  13. How are back orders handled?

    Back orders are rare but do occasionally happen. If an item you order is out of stock, we will contact you by phone or email within 24 hours of your order, Monday through Friday.

    • If your entire order is on back order - we will place the order on hold and send the item(s) as soon as they become available.

    • If one or more items are on back order - we will send the items that are in stock and automatically send the remaining item(s) as they become available. We do not charge for shipping on backordered items.





  14. Address corrections

    Our carriers assess a $10 fee for an incorrect delivery address. AST Sports Science reserves the right to bill you for this fee.
